Peter L. Vit is leading European M2M/IoT and Big Data marketing related activities at Deutsche Telekom since December 2012. His team is working closely together with Telekom Group Innovation units as well as with local marketing and sales teams across Europe.
Vit is taking active role in promoting Internet of Things and Big Data on various forums and blogs. He was selected as one of the Top5 most connected DACH LinkedIn marketing professionals in 2015. Next to his passion for social media, he is also involved in start up mentoring like the IoT innovation accelerator ChallengeUp! organized by Deutsche Telekom, Cisco and Intel in 2015 and 2016.
Before joining deutsche Telekom's headquarters in Bonn in 2012 Vit has gained broad experience in the telecommunications, ICT and banking/payment business. He spend 7 years in Prague at T-Mobile Czech in various positions as head of B2B product management and new business development teams.
Vit is absolvent of Prague's University of Economics. He graduated at the Faculty of Informatics and Statistics. His second specialization was Political science.
